My name is Ameera Skaik, a mother of three beautiful children.
We live in northern Gaza, or what’s left of it. Our life was once filled with joy and hope. But everything changed in a moment. Our world collapsed, and suffering became our constant companion.
Each day feels like a battle for survival as we face the horrors of war and the despair of scarcity.
My youngest son, only one year and eight months old, looks at me with innocent eyes, unaware of the hardship surrounding us.
It breaks my heart that I cannot provide the care and safety he and my other children so desperately deserve.
In this ocean of despair, all I ask for is a glimpse of hope, a chance to escape the darkness that threatens to consume us.
We cling to each other and pray for a miracle that will lift us from the depths of despair and offer us a second chance at life.
My children are suffering from fear and hunger. We have nothing left.
