We are no longer using GoFundMe. GoFundMe not only charges large tips and fees, it also abruptly and unlawfully closes accounts and steals the money of desperate, starving families.
HELP FUND GAZA does not take ANY fees, or tips. 100% of your donations get wired directly to the beneficiaries bank accounts.
My name is Mayada, I’m 25 years old.
I live with my family of five. We once lived in a peaceful home filled with love and stability, until the day everything changed. We are surrounded by death and destruction. We remained in our home during the war and didn’t evacuate south at first. As a result, we endured starvation, bombings, devastation, and terrifying fire belts.
The blockade cut us off from my brother and his family, who fled south, and we haven’t seen them for months. During the last displacement from Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, the occupation bombed and destroyed our home. My father, who spent his life building it, wept bitterly over its loss. And as if that wasn't enough, my father was diagnosed with leukemia and urgently needs specialized treatment, which is currently unavailable, putting his life at serious risk.
Today, after two years of war, I reach out to you with hope in my heart, asking you to stand with my family. We have no source of income, we’ve sold everything just to survive. Now we desperately need your help to provide food, medicine, and to rebuild what was destroyed so we can live again with dignity. Please help us survive...My sick father needs you.. You are our last hope after God.
With love and prayers from Gaza.
Your sister,
-Mayada
