Hello, I am Basma and I am raising money for my mother and my family in the Gaza Strip
These donations are for Basma’s family, to help them get food, medicine, and daily essentials in Gaza.Because of the war, the blockade, and the closed borders, everything is very expensive, and there’s a big shortage of food and medicine. Basma’s family is living in poor, worn-out tents. These tents don’t protect them from the hot summer or the cold winter. They don’t have the basics needed for a decent life.This is what things have come to in Gaza — after huge and cruel destruction of homes, markets, schools, and roads.
The truth is even worse than what words can describe.Later, if the Rafah border between Gaza and Egypt opens again, we may use some of the donations to help evacuate more members of Basma’s family.Your donations help us get closer to our goal. Even a small amount can make a big difference.
