We are no longer using GoFundMe. GoFundMe not only charges large tips and fees, it also abruptly and unlawfully closes accounts and steals the money of desperate, starving families.
HELP FUND GAZA does not take ANY fees, or tips. 100% of your donations get wired directly to the beneficiaries bank accounts.
My name is Mahmoud and I volunteer in the emergency department of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza for the past 20 months.
Throughout this brutal war, I have dedicated myself to saving lives on the frontlines of an unfolding humanitarian catastrophe. But today I am the one in need of saving.
My family and I have lost everything our stability, our livelihood, and our sense of safety. We have been displaced, left to navigate the ruins of a life that no longer exists. The grief of losing my father last March deepens the wounds we carry. Yet, through all this devastation, I continue to work, refusing to turn away from those who need me most.
Every day the situation grows harsher. Hunger tightens its grip, and hope feels more fragile than ever. The silence of empty plates echoes louder than bombs. We are no longer just fighting war, we are fighting to survive hunger itself. I never imagined I would be in this position, but the reality is undeniable. We urgently need your support. Any amount, no matter how small, can make a difference in helping us find stability again.
The funds raised will be the lifeline for my mother, brother, and sister. They will help repair our home and, more importantly, rebuild our lives amid relentless hardship. Your kindness is our lifeline. Please consider donating or sharing this message. Thank you for standing with us in these darkest hours.
With love, pain, hope and gratitude,
- Mahmoud Younis Shaheen
