I am Khaled Hammad, 23 years old python developer, currently living in the southern Gaza Strip.
My family, consisting of eight members, and my younger siblings, we all face the harsh reality of displacement and loss in this genocidal war. We have lost our friends, some family members, our home has been destroyed, and the city has been completely devastated, rendering it uninhabitable. In addition to that, there is an additional burden of caring for my disabled brother, Bura'a, who was also injured in the war with shrapnel below his mouth. He suffers from mental retardation, excessive activity, and excessive electrical activity, and he experiences frequent seizures that have worsened during the war. His treatment is difficult in Gaza due to the blockade. Bura'a is 21 years old and has chronic illnesses.
My city has been destroyed, my home has been destroyed, and my people have departed. Over 200 days have passed since the war, and everything has been lost. You can see that I have documented all these atrocities on my Instagram account @khaledcodes.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to secure the future of my family, including two young children and a disabled brother in urgent need of medical care.
