My name is Jumana Yousef, a mother of three children from Gaza.
I suffer from a chronic illness that requires regular treatment, and yet today I struggle to secure even the most basic necessities of life. We are facing a severe shortage of medicine, food, and clean water.Our home was bombed, forcing us to flee to Al-Mawasi, where we now live in a fragile tent, its floor is dirt and its roof sways with the wind. With no stable source of income and the soaring prices of basic goods beyond our capacity, I often have to reduce my family’s meals or give up essential needs just to provide the little that keeps us alive. My children, who deserve a childhood filled with laughter and play, now know hunger more than food, and fear more than safety. Their dreams have been replaced with a daily struggle for survival.
Winter is approaching, and our shelter is collapsing. I cannot afford to repair it, yet without it, my children will face the bitter cold and the rains unprotected. What should have been a season of warmth and comfort has become a source of fear and suffering.I am in desperate need of help to provide:·
- Repairing the shelter before winter arrives
- Winter clothes for my children
- Medicine for my treatment·
- Food and clean drinking water
All we have left is hope… hope that kind hands will reach out to help us.
