My name is Eyad R. Manaa, I live in Gaza with my wife Raghda and my two children Amir and Tamer.
I write to you not as a witness, but as a father who is watching his children starve.The world thinks aid is reaching Gaza. They see headlines about trucks entering and airstrikes pausing. But here is the truth: my family has not eaten a real meal in weeks. My children cry from hunger pains while warehouses full of food sit just kilometers away, locked behind borders and checkpoints.A kilo of flour now costs $50 if you can find it. My wife sold her last piece of jewelry for a handful of lentils. We drink dirty water because it's all we have left. Yesterday, my youngest son fainted at school, not just from bombs , but also from hunger.
I stopped sending reports to journalists because I no longer have the strength. How can I document the suffering when I am living it? When every ounce of energy goes toward finding one more day of survival?
