Hi, my name is Amal, and I am a mother of four orphaned children living with me in the Gaza Strip.
My children are very young, and every day they live is filled with fear and uncertainty. They do not yet understand the meaning of a stable life or a home that makes them feel safe, because they have lost everything around them. We lost our home completely due to recent events, and everything we had built over the years disappeared. We are without a permanent shelter, and every day is a new challenge to meet the most basic needs of my children: food, water, clothing, and medicine.
My children receive no support or sponsorship from organizations or institutions that usually care for orphans, which makes my responsibility toward them even heavier. I am a single mother, doing everything I can to protect them and provide a dignified life. The difficult circumstances make it almost impossible. We desperately need your help to rebuild a simple home that will protect my children and restore their sense of safety. We need your help to provide our daily basic needs, and to start a small project that will give us a steady income so we can live with dignity and independence. Every donation, no matter how small, is a ray of hope for a child sleeping without fear for the first time in a long time. Every share of our campaign shows them that the world has not forgotten them, and that kind hearts stand with them.
